About The Artwork

Work in progress, part of my Australia's Hidden Future series. Materially, this painting is stretched linen canvas (photo taken prior to stretch). When the painting is finished it will be protected with medium and varnish. Archival quality inputs only. Relative to the subject, Port Lincoln is a quiet grain-belt town on the southern tip of the Eyre Peninsula. It is also a victim of state authoritarianism. In this painting I represent what Port Lincoln (and Coffin Bay) could become if regional and local empowerment were the norm in Australia. The painting represents the rise of a large non-capital city in Australia, defying all odds.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I am a scientist and artist. My hand-painted, abstract cities represent the Urban Organism, a biological interpretation of urbanisation. My cities are imagined. If a real location is painted, it is an idealised vision of the future, a case study in urbanisation. The pieces featured here do not represent my full body of work. You're seeing archival artwork only.
