Pink happiness; acrylic on canvas; 2023; 66 x 46 centimeters; 26 x 18 inches Painted in a palette where purple hues dominate, 'Pink Happiness' is a striking portrayal of the modern woman's role and her freedom to express sexuality. The painting features a female figure, her form rendered with a blend of abstraction and realism, standing against a dynamic backdrop that suggests movement and transformation. The work is a celebration of femininity and the liberation that comes from breaking societal constraints. It is an ode to the power and beauty of women who dare to express themselves openly and without fear of judgment. The use of purple in the painting symbolizes the blending of the calm stability of blue and the fierce energy of red, reflecting the complex nature of womanhood. The strokes are bold and confident, mirroring the assertiveness of a society where women are unrestricted. The title 'Pink Happiness' contrasts with the dominant colors, perhaps alluding to the joy that is found when the softer, traditionally feminine aspects of a woman's identity are embraced alongside her strength and complexity. This piece resonates with themes of liberation, beauty, and the inherent power within every woman. It is not just a statement of societal change, but also a beautifully crafted work of art that would add depth and conversation to any bedroom setting. The painting is already ready to hang on your wall!

Artistic Statement I paint large scale contemporary pieces, up to three meters, that combine Expressionism and Abstract Expressionism. Also my artworks are land or seascapes and figurative art. The mix of styles creates is a dialogue between interior emotions and the outside environment. I like to think that all my art comes from a place of optimism and a celebration of life. I believe that the art and objects that we surround ourselves with can motivate people and infuse our lives with positive energy. I have always maintained, and tell my art students, that good art requires steady and constant effort and practice, so I make sure I paint every day. I am also constantly looking for ways to add new elements, stylistically and conceptually, to my work.
