Oil on found wooden support un framed. This painting was made from an image of a panther in the wild looking over its shoulder directly at us, the stare of a wild animal is something special and I wanted to not be too explicit about the eyes, so I blurred them down. This looks like a reference to crying and maybe subconsciously it was a remembrance that we are slowly but surely taking away the habitat and hence the lives of many wild animals. I don't think too much about what I am doing whilst painting, this results in much more interesting outcomes
