I believe multiculturalism is the best, brightest thing we can do with our future and the idea of that whole society is benefited from increased diversity through the harmonious coexistence of different cultures inspired me to do this painting.I wanted to symbolize offspring of multiculturalism is much more brighter and colorful while emphasizing Multicultural society is based upon the non-discrimination, tolerance, acceptance, understanding, respect, curiosity, honesty, empathy, awareness of one’s own as well as other cultures, valuing difference and being prepared to make compromises and adjustments to resolve cultural conflicts. This is a original Batik painting done on calico fabric and mounted on stretched canvas and protected with top coat of Liquitex varnish.
