About The Artwork
This work was inspired by a small detail in a large piece done by an artist friend of mine: an undulating line. I thought of colorful tendrils on a more neutral but still colorful background of square shapes juxtaposing the organic and the geometric. I would like the viewer to feel meditative while looking at this piece. It can suggest any number of things, but to me it suggested tranquillity and liveliness at the same time. I am always drawn to what is contradictory in life.
