Strangely enough, this abstract "landscape" was inspired by a what I saw during a walk in Fossil Canyon, in Patagonia. I started out thinking of the many colors and patterns I saw there and the painting evolved into a patterned landscape as seen from above. I entitled it "Obsession" because it became just that for me over the course of two months. I found myself constantly adding layers of patterns and shapes, just as Mother Nature had done.
