'Next' Painting

Johnny Doe is the pseudonym of life- a nobody whose struggle for a purpose remains in hindsight and the most commonly used words in the English language, "I wish." To portray life through misanthropic Post-Utopian eyes that have concluded it to be a glass half empty! Works are intentionally childlike in appearance and deliberate in their symbolist assemblage. Messages- direct though unintended to shock serve as a reminder of what is common knowledge but blinkered by mass denial. Integrity is the proposed path, exposing the charlatans whose banal projections lost significance even before conception. 'Black Dog'- a future storyboard exhibition formed from the self characteristic stages of being, married as a whole within one space deliberately confrontational and blunt, toy with the troubling realism that there is only one thing you can be certain of in this life... In short, my work is directed towards those who find themselves asking the question, 'why are we here and what is the purpose?'
