About The Artwork
Mirroring! is a small series of large paintings inspired by the well-known Rorschach images. The artwork "Neutral Mirroring" is a diptych and painted on a raw, unprimed cotton canvas (2 pieces each 140x110cm). On this material the acrylic paints penetrate deeply into the fabric. The pigments granulates in some places and the different colors appear translucent, but at the same time very colorful and lively. The canvas itself is also slightly translucent. A coat of varnish was applied to protect the painting from uv rays and dust and it is hand signed by me on the backside. The artwork is unframed and will be shipped in a tube. In June 2022 I opened a second studio in Italy/Marche. Some of my artworks will also ship from there.
