About The Artwork

I prefer to leave my abstract art open to interpretation by the viewer. I've gone on my journey when I created this painting so I believe you should be allowed and encouraged to go on your own journey when you look at it. I've come to realize the main reason I paint is to provide myself with the conditions needed to connect to source or a higher world. And when I've succeeded in making the connection, the art created is a collaboration between me and an energy source. It's not something that can be seen, only felt. This is why I create, this is what has always inspired me to do the work. This painting was done using acrylics, markers and Posca pens. It is on a gallery wrapped canvas. The sides are painted and it comes wired and ready to hang.

I am an internationally collected artist originally from Taunton, Massachusetts. I have a degree in Accounting from Bryant University but have been making art since I was very young. I am mainly inspired by color and shapes found in nature. Although I have moments of creating vibrant and dynamic paintings, I tend to prefer quiet and minimalistic pieces. These feel more intimate and soulful to me. In 2016 I was invited to become an Artist member of the Art in Embassies program administered by the US state department. I had a painting included in an exhibition in Monrovia, Liberia at the residence of Christine Elder, the US Ambassador to Liberia. My work has been used on film, television and commercials.
