About The Artwork
Turner inspired this piece - I was in Nova Scotia years back and one particular sunset I enjoyed while thinking about someone I love and miss. The Sky got bigger and brighter as if listening to my heart and soul - the shine gave me promise but alas we have not been reunited. He left this world not long after but every gold sky reminds me of him and the flecks in his eyes. We both shared that sky and will again together.

I am a Cree Artist living in Toronto, Ontario. Former Art Gallery owner in Toronto I paint full-time now in my home studio in Eastern Toronto. My influences are Turner and Caspar. I predominantly paint in the styles of Romanticism, Abstract and Abstract Expressionism. I prefer oils but do occasionally produce works in Acrylic. I am currently going thru an phase of multi-media focus with elements such as gold and copper leaf finding their way into some of my large pieces.
