After visiting Montelupo Albese 3 times in the Piedmont area of Italy, the scenery from the window just pulls me each time. Wake up to, read to, sleep to or just stare to the wonderful hills and vineyards feeling the warmth of the sunshine, the colors and silence of the area. Chose to paint oil on canvas to capture the fine details.

Born in Wellingborough, England, 25 years of fast-paced London based travel industry work commitments took me world-wide. In 2009, I began oil painting under Talal Refit and continued for 6 years under Uwe Mueller (student of Henry Moore) at Kunstwerk in Wilhelmshaven, Germany. Somewhere along the road, I started experimenting with Encaustic and self-taught the wonderful medium of this ancient art, dating back between 1st - 3rd century. Today, for painting I alternate between encaustic on wood panels and oils on canvas working full-time at my atelier located in historic town of Jever, Germany.
