About The Artwork
I remember my first plein air drawing and painting lessons given by my mum and dad when I was a child. They often chose a beautiful setting in one of the many marshland areas near Salzburg. Doing this watercolour felt like time-travelling back to the days of my childhood and at the same time was an incredible refresher course in careful observation, choice of materials and, most of all, patience. At the moment I do not have the name of the original artist, but will supply it as soon as possible. This painting comes in an off-white mount.
