Bold and bright gently gestural painting in acrylic gouache on paper. A warm sandy yellow base is overlaid with light turquoise green (Aqua Green by Tuner Acryl Gouache, a favourite of mine). This is then overlaid with impulsive brushstrokes and speckles of paint. I've been feeling very inspired by the wonderful sunny weather here in the UK and have cast aside my oil paints for the time being. The quick-drying nature of the acrylic gouache paint has been very fun to work with. Painted on 300gsm extra smooth watercolour paper. Signed and dated on the front. Sold unframed.
