While people all over the world are fighting the coronavirus I can remember I read some where Ex-New Zealand prime minister Hellen Clark said "This is the kind of crisis which will make or break leaders". It's been tough couple of years for New Zealand starting from the Christchurch shooting and White island volcanic eruption in 2019 and all these incidents highlighted how important it is to have a great leader when things are getting rough. I'm proud we have a strong woman as our leader today as she inspires me to be tough but human. No matter how hard life bit me It’s hard to convince myself the economy is more important than people’s lives and so may our human compassion bind us together as a one nation and divine intuition guide us through these difficult times. I wanted to make her characters into symbolic archetypes in order to show how important it is to have a empathetic leadership for a nation no matter how tough it gets. this is a original Batik Painting mounted on stretched canvas and protected from dust and UV light by a thin layer of Liquitex varnish.
