About The Artwork
I made this painting during my last exhibition in Florence in several days. One day, while I was painting the electricity went away, so I decided It was finished. Hence the title which is a reference to the political movement of the luddite during the Industrial Revolution in England. Hope to inspire a feeling of sufficiency. Of not wanting anything more than what it is. This painting in between abstraction and figuration is one o the style I most like to paint.
