About The Artwork

LOVE CONQUERS MADNESS #2 140x140cm - Oil and acrylics on canvas - 2021 Se my latest paintings on my Instagram: @CarrazedoArt I talked for about a year practically only about bananas. So be prepared to put up with (or be delighted ...) with the strawberry. And by the picture you can already see where my head is. This is the largest work with ??? so far, measuring 140x140cm. Spots in blue / cobalt violet for some reason ... ?. Just like the previous work of number # 1, for the first time the spots go to the ends. For those who have already captured the reasons for the spots, you should imagine that this goes far beyond making the job more difficult to do. To go to extremes is to get out of comfort and the (false) sense of security that we have. It is to discover new limits, to go beyond. Even though there are countless dangers and pitfalls too, it is in the unknown that the great discoveries, growth, live. It is in the infinite possibilities that lie the paths that lead us to a fulfilling life that is worth living. We do not know exactly why certain things are as they are. There is no life manual - no matter how much we try to put it in writing, just living. And that can bring anguish and anxiety into our hearts. We suffer a lot because of anticipation of situations that only exist in our head. From what I've been through and seen other people going through, I realize that if you believe in God or something beyond our understanding in this world, you may find some comfort or strength to move on when the world shows its harsh (and subjective) reality, when there seems to be no more hope. Not long ago I would never have imagined myself saying that. Like Eric in the photo that doesn't fit on this sofa, I feel that in this life you have to be "comfortably uncomfortable". Comfortable to the point of having a minimum of clarity in their actions, avoiding acting on impulse and / or function of internal insecurities. Bothered to the point of creating the courage to move towards your purpose, even if you don't know exactly what it is, because it only reveals itself when we are on the move. Perhaps life is this eternal movement. Even if one day it stops here, it will echo in eternity. Eric
