About The Artwork
This is an original oil painting of a lotus flower which I painted because I loved the way it reflected in the water. I particularly like all the water droplets on the lily pads and the little bugs on the flowers. This painting was inspired by the photography of Thomas Wiese - see the original photograph at https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/164499177/photography-lotus-flower-high-gloss?ref=shop_home_active_3 This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on board. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to optimise the colour pigment, accentuate brush strokes and ensure the painting will last a lifetime. The painting has been signed and is sold in a white frame, ready to hang. The painting measures 20" x 16" (50.8 x 40.64 cm)
