Looking Out Across the Winter Marshes Painting

I am a modern abstract painter living in Portland, Oregon, USA. I am also a civil engineer, specializing in large drinking water supply projects in the Western United States. I use layers of color and bold marks to tell the stories of where I've been and what I've experienced. My paintings reference my love for urban and natural landscapes, with bits of graffiti and urban night scenes working together with forests, deserts, and trees and an occasional engineering equation or structure.
