there is always an inner conflict between order and expressionistic freedom, this series (order and chaos) arose in this conflict in which ordered color fields compete with expressionist brushstrokes. the picture consists of thin layers of color, which are sometimes arranged strictly and then expressively applied again. whereby a part of the layer is rubbed off again, so that the underlying color layer shines through. the final color is a result from the interplay of the superimposed color layers. 80 x 80 cm no frame needed, ready to hang, high quality and pigmented colors, varnished for a long live signed on the back, sides painted red

Mostly in acrylic on canvas with long lasting high quality colours. In my paintings the colours are the most important aspect and in almost all of them take primary focus. In this regard I am influenced by Rothko and the color field paintings. * Abstract photography is my second love and often the inspiration of my paintings.
