About The Artwork
This playful painting features a three-headed but decidedly friendly combination of a lion, a tiger, and a jaguar frolicking along with a friendly toucan. The jungle cat wears a crown while the toucan bears a little halo. The background of the piece is painted in a blue and acidic green while emerald green dashes form a pattern over the green base to create an abstract forested texture. The animals are painted in a variety of orange, red, and pink tones with black and white details. It was painted in Oakland, California and will ship from my little studio, lovingly wrapped in layers of glassine and soft dish wrap. It is painted on a board with a protruding cradle so it appears to be framed in a narrow pale birch wood frame with a squared edge. This frame cannot be removed.
