ORIGINAL PAINTING - one of a kind I research the cultural identity created within multiple people getting together. This artwork focus on the idea of gathering individualities, when two or more individuals get together and try to reshape themselves within a single new entity made of multiple elements connected to their social such as small groups or large masses of people. These entities shape our social environment. This painting represents a typical gathering around an Italian bar, that becomes a cultural epicenter where people can express their identity (getting a coffee or aperitivo, soda, amaro) through daily gestures and communication. After two years of pandemic, cultures around the world has been severely affected, creating disconnection among people and differences. Regardless, people around the world are regaining their cultural habits, by slowly switching back from connected virtuality to material reality. THE INFORMAL GRAFFITI PROJECT "Informal Graffiti is a tiny drawing on the blank surface of my artistic universe. My graffiti is informal because does not follow the media, the format, the scale or the intention of traditional graffiti art. Informal graffiti is an attempt to use intellectual and material fragments of the hyper consumption culture (credit cards , aluminum cans, old pieces of wood, dirty old paper, etc) in order to decontextualize the traditional relationship between the viewer and the message. I look at Arte Povera philosophy as cultural inspiration , because it is the only art movement that challenged the establishment in terms of art, politics, economy, culture. Arte Povera’s ideas boost my sense of engagement to the surrounding world, where art practice becomes the main way to rebel, to disagree, to criticize, to reimagine, to reinvent. I reject the idea of using art to create social media phenomenons, because I personally make some art to survive and not to entertain" Fabio Coruzzi exhibited at galleries, museums and art fairs around the world.
