About The Artwork
Like a robot with a human brain, the Site warrior dominates the construction site from below grade to the sky. With it, massive weights of building materials are moved from one place to another. This painting is from the series Construction/Deconstruction I had a delay in flying home from Paris. I stayed overnight in Roissy in a hotel. Outside my window I could see another hotel being built and this huge crane was my view. I loved it! Such bright primary colours play against the sky. and I find that joyous.
