A figurative painter working mostly with oil, I am intrigued by people's internal conflicts and thinking process and I explore how these are carried into gestures, facial expressions and body language. Fascinated by dance, watersports and action sports such as skateboarding, my new expressionist work delves into the realm of skater girls and surfers, often touching upon their darker side, with bold brushstrokes and exploratory fluid color.
