The series of works "LF#00" was created in the fall of 2023 inspired by the text "slight fables" by singer-songwriter Gavinuccio Canu. They were created using a variety of techniques: watercolor, Indian ink, fusage, charcoal, graphite, tempera, markers. Some of the works were used to create the album cover graphics. The influences that characterize these works are evident, first and foremost the works that Vaughan Oliver made for 23 envelope and that served as the cover art for the 4ad records label's hits from the early 1980s. Equally the interest in Japanese sumi-e ink painting technique where main motifs and subjects are related to nature and each aspect of nature, refers to a metaphor of life. In this sort of emotional landscapes we find geometric and natural elements surfacing among multiple overlapping planes obtained by glazing by mixing different painting techniques and creating an enchanted and meditative atmosphere.
