It represents the essence of my one-week work in exchange with artists from the fields of painting, installation and photography. This exchange was closely related to the place: the factory HEEDER in Krefeld, a cultural exchange place of the performing and visual arts. It also has a close connection to the historic building of the HEEDER factory. Important in my way of working is already at the beginning of the priming of the canvas. Here begins my painting and assumes a first basic form. Layer by layer, applied with a brush or spatula, a desired range of colors and textures is developed. By using the spatula as the main or authoritative tool comes the final work. Every look at the work should open up new worlds.
