"King and Queen, Henry Moore - a tribute". This colourful abstract painting depicts Henry Moore´s famous sculpture "King and Queen" at Glenkiln, Dumfries, Scotland. Part of the the Scottish Skies series, I was inspired by Uwe Müller who was trained by Henry Moore. After a theft at Glenkiln Sculpture Park the statue was removed from public view. This painting is a tribute to Henry Moore, depicting the sculpture with colourful skies as it previously set in Glenkiln.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

Born in Wellingborough, England, 25 years of fast-paced London based travel industry work commitments took me world-wide. In 2009, I began oil painting under Talal Refit and continued for 6 years under Uwe Mueller (student of Henry Moore) at Kunstwerk in Wilhelmshaven, Germany. Somewhere along the road, I started experimenting with Encaustic and self-taught the wonderful medium of this ancient art, dating back between 1st - 3rd century. Today, for painting I alternate between encaustic on wood panels and oils on canvas working full-time at my atelier located in historic town of Jever, Germany.
