Jesus The Bible speaks perfectly of His character, and I believe He is definitely an example to follow. This picture is not an icon for worship, because my icon is only the Living God himself, whom we will meet only after crossing the threshold of this life. I depicted His eyes as ambiguous. Here one can see the pity for the madness of people who go into the abyss, and at the same time parental love, which, despite people's choices, pays the price for them. He gives himself to the cross, despite the pain and fear, saying: "Forgive them, Father, because they do not know what they are doing!" Will you say that death on the cross is weakness? And here is the paradox - What evil tried so hard to destroy, on the contrary, manifested Him. On the Cross, Jesus wins through loss, triumphs in defeat, gains power in weakness, acquires treasure by giving up everything. And - resurrects, becoming the greatest person in the world, where everything is for Him and through Him!
