The calm and at the same time powerful energy that I feel when I enter the cooling green and gentle shadows of a summer forest after a strenuous, exhausting day inspired me to create the painting “Into the Woods”. By entering into this majestic silence of nature, I would like to invite you to find your own inner center and to develop your inner resources again. The work of art itself fascinates with the virtuoso transitions between flowing green and blue tones paired with skillfully applied surface structures that take the painting from abstract fantasy into three-dimensional reality. I always pay special attention to the diverse details of the work of art, work in different, mostly wet layers of paint, and deliberately combine brushes, spatulas and squeegee techniques.
