About The Artwork
A strong and bold colour palette overlayed with striking gestural black structure lines. A true expressionist abstract artwork that is sure to make a statement in any environment. I've used numerous layers of paint and colours which has resulted in a textured surface from the underpainting. As with many of my paintings, I have used a variety of bright colours. In this case, I have overlayed the background with Kline-esque black structural lines to tone down the colours, and also to add strong definition to the overall artwork. The painting has been inspired by the works of De Kooning, and Kline, though it is definitely 100% original. Incline has been painted on a high quality 12oz canvas on Eraldo stretcher bars and frame.
