About The Artwork
Tracks made during mud season hiking inspired this painting, along with myths of big foot. I hope viewers will see the imprint left be the passing of something unknown and they will feel inspired to day dream. I work with oil and cold wax because these materials allow for a great range of approaches, layering, adding, reducing. I like abstraction because in the creation of it, I am led down interesting paths and I hope the same will happen to the viewer.
