Grazing Gazelles Painting

This is a special painting for me. I've had it on my wall, across from where I usually sit, and it's given me the opportunity to examine it in a more detailed way than I do most of my work. I realized while analyzing it that I unconsciously created an interesting composition. The eye is initially attracted to the main gazelle in the front right of the painting, led to it by the stripe of the gazelle immediately in back of it. The eye is led from these two gazelles back into the painting in a zig zag fashion by successive gazelles as they recede toward the back and top of the painting. This wasn't something I consciously did, but it's an inherent sense of composition that I think many artists possess.
