About The Artwork
This painting is painted on canvas using acrylics mainly and some oil for finish. I used a holiday picture as reference, taken a while when it was happy times with no covid scare in the world. Simple joys of life such as a short holidays now requires so much caution even for a staycation, painting this piece brightened my happy memory and my day. I call this piece ‘golden hour’, I have used some gold paint in the greens and a streak of silver in the road.

I am inspired by the natural landscapes around me which I portray mainly using bold colours. I like to work with oils and acrylic paints on medium to large size canvases. With a bachelors degree in Engineering, I also completed a Masters degree in Business Administration from Warwick Business School( Warwick University). Drawing and painting was a childhood activity that I carried into adulthood, mainly self-taught except in secondary school where a dedicated teacher would run a rather interesting art class. England is home to outstanding landscapes and I am constantly inspired by colorful sunsets and breathtaking scenes of nature.
