About The Artwork
This work is of the Jokulsarlon lagoon and its wonderful changing formations of ice, set against a glowing sky. The ice there is all shades of blue, with occasional rosy glowing sections from sun reflections. You could stand there for hours watching the ice float past and make and remake formations. I did that. And have done many paintings based on that experience.
