Fashion illustration of Givenchy Spring 2019 Couture collection, look 7. This is a painting from a special series created for Klaipeda Fashion Week (Lithuania). The event asked to rethink fashion and answer the question, how the changes in fashion now is going to rewrite our future? Fashion industry is one of the bigests in the world and yet there are not so many women head designers in the field. One one the greatest fashion houses Givenchy is led by the talented Claire Waight Keller since 2017 what is a huge step in the brand's history. Artwork created using traditional media (watercolor, acrylic, pencil, charcoal, ink, soft pastel) and plastic rhinestones glued on paper. Unframed dimensions 65x60 cm.

Popular culture plays a very important role in my work - fashion photographs and recognizable items become the basis of paintings, which I paraphrase and transform every time, giving them a sense of fictional, sometimes irrational, everyday life. Therefore, it is an open look at myself and the modern woman of modern times in general: through the paintings I examine the themes of female image, identity, sexuality, loss, freedom, youth, etc. Since fashion is a big part of my art, I also create vibrant fashion illustrations, capturing iconic fashion moments from the world's biggest runways.
