About The Artwork
When I paint, rather than focusing on a particular theme or subject, I focus on what I feel. Every person is unique and everyone has a story, more special than we will ever know. For me, painting is a story of existence in which I reflect emotions that cannot be expressed in words, on canvas, by feeling the joys, sorrows and rebellions. My only goal is for people to find something about themselves when they look at the paintings I paint, to share their stories and to leave a mark. When we look at a work of art, what we see is our story, not the artist's.

Born in Bursa in 1982, Özge Tezgör completed her undergraduate education at Uludağ University, Department of Mathematics & Economics, and her master's degree at Uludağ University, Department of Mathematics. The artist, who has been continuing his professional career in the automotive industry since 2005, opened his first personal philography exhibition in 1996. The artist, who has been continuing his painting studies in art workshops since 1988, created his personal brand Trapiche in 2020 by supporting the work of fine arts faculties with art education programs. Tezgör, who participated in 16 group exhibitions with his own brand in Istanbul, Bodrum and Bursa, opened his first personal painting exhibition called "UKDE" in 2022. The artist started working with Frank Art Studio and Gama Gallery in 2023.
