"FREEDOM THROUGH IMAGINATION # 2" ***This is a round canvas*** Measure is 80cm in diameter. I remember the first time I had the idea of ​​making this painting: I was so ecstatic with my work, my life, with everything - in spite of all the difficulties that were appearing - that nothing seemed to be able to get me off track. I believe it was one of those moments when we let go of the outside world and really connected with the dreamed "inner me". The ego disappeared, although afterwards it wanted to take its usual "mental" toll. The bucket, when covering the view, blinds us only visually in this plane. We do not yet know exactly how the creative act works, and perhaps it is something that, like the concept of consciousness, we will never discover. But it is a fact that seeing goes far beyond optical vision. The overflow of neural connections and this almost direct connection with consciousness, leaving aside the "self", even for a fraction of a second, shows us that there is a Universe as vast as our inability to explain it. It is as if you saw everything at the same time, and space-time cannot describe it, as they do not exist in a certain way in this case. If you have been with me for a while, you already have an idea of ​​how I usually proceed with this creative side. If on the one hand there is a great effort to overcome me, there is also an enormous pleasure in the freedom that my imagination provides. As long as I have the slightest imaginative spark, I will continue creating, I will remain free. When I post the other one, I will tell you more about these works, there is much to say, and also not to say, being in charge of the spectator's imagination. I want you to feel that energy! **** This painting with a blue background is complementary to the work of number 2, of the same name and orange background. The idea is to make a game of "hot and cold" with the contrast of the two. Obviously they can be contemplated separately. I highlight the details on the sides, with the idea of ​​paint splashing down, taking advantage of the fact that the canvas is round to create this interesting effect of continuity (or infinity). These two works complement my idea of ​​the creative universe in which I find myself in painting. However, this does not make these paintings super personal. In fact, I believe it is the opposite, as it calls the viewer for really interesting and often very different interpretations of its meaning. I don't know if you noticed, but the round shape itself is related to my last works. Each spot is like a field of imagination. My work, or rather my life, revolves around the creative issue. But without putting into action - and finishing what I set out to do - there is no imagination enough. Thinking about this, I can say that it is the same analogy between information and knowledge.
