For the Love of Pink Painting

For the Love of Pink is inspired by attractive color and hues of pinks. It is a positive color and goes well with so many other colors. I was working in my studio around the time of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and an old friend had lost her battle with female cancer. She was the sweetest lady, a practicing nurse right up till her health no longer allowed her to work. She spent her last few months with family and friends in a loving and caring environment. She stayed positive and made her peace, a real strength to others as always. I thought of her as I picked out some of her favorite pink colors to brush across this paper canvas. This painting is created on acid free artist quality paper used for mixed media and should last for years especially if it is covered in a frame with glass facing. Acrylic and watercolor paints used are of good quality and the colors should keep for many years. Prints are available in many sizes.
