About The Artwork
the work is a slow, accumulative process -- the title comes from the gospel song reflective of my childhood -- acrylic paint, polymer on pieces of duralar (which is a kind of acetate) -- currently the piece is unframed, mounted on a piece of masonite which is cut to the same shape as the painting -- it has hardware on back for hanging, thickness with masonite is only about .3"

Pier Wright lives on the Leelanau Peninsula in the village on Northport a short walk from Lake Michigan. During the summer months he operates a gallery representing about 10 artists each season.
