This is a painting that was inspired when walking around the Olympic site at Stratford before the building work had started for the new Stadium. This was a view looking downstairs in an older building, now demolished. I was interested in the setting and the possible entrances and exits in this image. For me it's a very positive space looking down towards the sunlit exit.
