This diptych consists of two canvases, the first one measuring 100x100x3.5 cm, and the second one measuring 70x100x3.5 cm, both suitable for hanging closely together, with a slight gap, or even at a distance on your wall. The dynamic color palette, featuring hues of yellow, violet, and deep blue, infuses the artwork with a striking liveliness. I deeply value this piece as it represents one of my initial creations within the "Connecting with Nature" series. In this series, I integrate tropical foliage and delicate, translucent human figures, aiming to nurture a gentle connection with the natural world. The work was exhibited in May 2023 at the prestigious and enchanting Aranciera di San Sisto in Rome, an official location of the City of Rome. If you decide to make a purchase, the accompanying catalog will be provided.

I am an Italian artist born in Rome, where I live and work. The first experience I remember as an artist dates back to when I was very young and I loved to draw and cut and paste by hiding under the living room table in my parents' house, everything I do now in my studio. Certainly resin is a constant in my production. Over the years, I have developed a technique centred on the chromatic and structural relationship between liquid matter, pigments and the sign line. The latter is sometimes embodied in figures with liquid strokes, deliberately far removed from a didactic figurative. Thus, the protagonists of the works in the 'Suspended Atmospheres' series, for example, are colour and light, symbols of my intimate dimension, and the sign which, when present, lives in a timeless and metaphysical dimension. While in the latest works in the series 'Close Your Eyes' there is a dualism between basic abstractionism and figurative symbolism. I divide the work into two phases, the first one very instinctive in which I pour the various colours, enamel, acrylic and resin on the canvas, and then in the second phase I combine elements of nature with objects related to the sphere of everyday life, which evoke human presence and refer to a conscious use of the environment. Chairs, armchairs and interiors announce women and men without making them manifest, leaving the observer with a feeling of experience linked to his or her own emotional sphere. Through these, I would like to invite us to stop, to close our eyes to enjoy the breath of creation and in doing so to finally see a new reality to be experienced in harmony with Nature.
