About The Artwork
The representation of animals makes me connect more with the earthly and keep in touch with that part of our environment that has to recover its role. In my works I do not place the protagonist in his place of reference, but I take him out of context, creating surreal and humorous environments. Expressionism becomes conscious in my paintings, transmitting feelings through the look and gesture of the figure. They maintain a state of calmness that contrasts with the strength and wildness of their essence.
