About The Artwork

Ekdanta is inspired by Indian God Lord Ganesha. Lord Ganesha's earliest name was Ekadanta (One Tusked), referring to his single whole tusk, the other being broken. Shades of Yellow symbolizes purity, peace, auspiciousness, sense control, and truthfulness. The meaning of the color Gold is multifaceted, often denoting generosity and compassion, as well as being synonymous with divinity and power in many religious settings. I have used Oil paints along with imitation Gold foil.
