I was listening to a program on the origins of champagne and heard that upon discovering champagne, French Benedictine monk Dom Pierre Pérignon exclaimed: Come quickly, I am drinking the stars!" I looked it up and saw that apparently it's a myth. No matter. It's a lovely image whomever wrote it! Dancing. Champagne. Laughter. Romance.
