Newborn foals are so joyful to observe. They mostly are drinking and sleeping and sometimes they run around to try out their long legs. So I have to be very fast sketching the position of the filly and a bit more for colour. The painting is in oil on linen on wooden stretcher bars and comes in a wooden floater frame ready to hang.
