Inspired by dominoes game, the several blues make it visually captivating and interesting, indicating some calmness and at the same time some emotional thoughts. I´m loving the energy and peace of this impressive and unique painting. You can see a sense of several blues and white colors that combines delicacy and boldness. In this original and unique abstract painting you can see a varity of colors, mixed together to create a unique and original atmosphere transmitting tranquility and peace... This should be a beautiful option to create special and good feelings and will grace any modern interior. I used gesso to create texture and then used several acrylic colors, painted with sponge. It's a high quality acrylic painting with texture, done on gallery wrapped canvas, the sides are painted in black color so, no need to framing. I'm an abstract self-taught artist based in Lisbon, Portugal. I’m a retired Portuguese Air Force Officer and my passion for painting started in an unexpected way back in 2004, when my daughter challenged me to paint a canvas…a canvas that would be the first of many. If I had to describe myself, while passionate about painting, I wouldn’t know how to do it…I’d say I’m just a curious, an eternal apprentice, who seeks unceasingly abstract forms to represent life, to perpetuate feelings and emotions. My spontaneously and unconventional style using acrylics, several mixed media, tools as palette knives, sponges and my own hands, allow me to build unique textures and layers into each painting.
