About The Artwork
Inspired by the coast and the mystery of the sea, these dolphins are painted on a wood panel in acrylics with blue, pure silver leaf, and sealed with a UV top coat to protect the leaf. This sea ballet of dolphins was inspired by a trip to the Big Island in Hawaii and a beautiful pod of dolphins dancing in the wake of our boat. They stayed with us for quite a long time, giving us a fabulous display of their grace. I am in love with the coast and the calm that being near the water brings. As an active traveler, I am always drawn to the coast and inspired by the sand, the sun, the water, and all the creatures that call it home.
