About The Artwork
I was so saddened recently by the death of a friends girlfriend. The tragic circumstances that unfolded with the accident and after the accident were a lot to process. I found myself needing an outlet since I didn't know these people very well. Painting this piece was a truly cathartic act for me. It hammered home just how fragile our own circumstances are, and if there is one thing that I should apply to my life, it is that, I do not let this time go to waste.
