"Diamond on Diamond" Painting

Diamonds are Women favorite stone, pure, shiny, stunning, they have the hardest surface on Earth, and they cannot be damaged by any sharp object, because their nature protects them. Ladies have been using them for long time, since fashion, and film industry introduced them as a symbol of luxury, of power, of prestige, of exclusivity. I have made this painting, abstracting the essence, the beauty, and the movement of many faces inside a diamond when it reflects different kind of lights. This picture shows how elegance, sharpness, and deepness can be together all at the same time as it happens on the most precious stone for Human Being. I chose acrylics on watercolor paper, because the smoothes of both materials mixed together bringing a lovely texture, the borders and the lines are pure, very clean, and they have been made very carefully with the brush, because it is not possible to put mask or cello tape on a very surface as watercolor paper. As an artist I love diamonds, they mean to me a high quality standard of life style, of progress, of ambition, and of power.
