About The Artwork
The title of the work means "Demand the impossible", after slogans of the Paris student movement of 1968. I have been using this kind of compositions with vertical stripes since decades ago. It is a transeference of magazines inks using an acrylic medium. I made this work at the Cité Internationale des Arts, in Paris, during a residency there in 2014. It will be safely delivered in a tube.
