About The Artwork
Thick impasto rendition of Darlands Ornamental Waters, an overgrown lake in a former country estate now in Totteridge, in the Borough of Barnet on the edge of north London. Painted on a wooden board, using oil paints in an impasto style, which catches the light and creates its own shadows, in a selection of the scene itself.
